Poppy Seed Sherry Cupcakes w/ Lemon Frosting (4pk)

It's like your favorite breakfast muffin but oh my, can we say LEMON. Superbly moist poppy seed cake with a splash of cream sherry, topped with an uber creamy lemony American buttercream frosting that will make you tingle from your taste buds to your brain.

This cupcake was inspired by a family recipe from my wife - her late mother - who's infamous culinary adventures are still told in the kitchen today. Few of which were hilarious blunders, but many of which were instant staples. Her lemon poppy seed sherry cake proved to be extraordinary, and this cupcake is a memorial to that nostalgia.
